Dry Malt Extract

Our locally produced Dry Malt Extract (“DME”) can be used as an alternative for liquid malt extract. Liquid malt extract is spray dried to remove the moisture, which results in DME. DME has a longer shelf life than the liquid counterpart and is useful to the home brewer for multiple reasons, including reaching your desired starting gravity, or making yeast starters, or even as a primer for bottle conditioning.
